We are pioneers in the new industry known as garden coaching. We will help you set up and learn to maintain your own garden – from tiny window boxes in apartments, to miniature farms on rooftops, we can teach you how to garden for yourself.
Our services are flexible and easily tailored to your needs – if you need us to design and install the garden for you, we can do that. If you need us to just take you shopping for your plants and help you pick what’s best for your garden, we can do that. No space is too small – our goal is to get your hands into dirt even if it’s in a pot on a 5’ square terrace, or a set of window boxes in your bedroom. We offer free email and phone support for your gardening questions as they arise.
Packages
We offer several packages, and we also have a la carte offerings if one we offer is not quite right for your circumstance. We always strive to give you the most for your money – more than anything we want to see you growing, and we’ll work with you and within your budget to make that happen! ! Packages do not include costs of planters and plants – however we are happy to pass our savings as a contractor on to you, at the wholesale prices we can get them at.
The Window box Package - $300
No outdoor space? That’s OK. We will help you design, install, and learn to care for your window box gardens. This package is three sessions, ranging from 1-2 hours depending on your needs, and includes up to 6’ of window boxes & materials – seeds and/or plants, window boxes, and soil!
Visit 1: Visiting your home or office, assessing the space, assessment of light, attachment issues with the boxes, and choosing what to plant.
Visit 2: Installation! I will come to your home with the boxes, plants and/or seeds, brackets for installation, and soil. Together we will install your window boxes and plant them.
Visit 3: Follow up 30 days later – checking on the plants, answering any questions you may have.
You will have free email and phone support for most issues and questions for 1 year after installation!
The Terrace Package - $700 + materials
Do you have a small terrace? The terrace package covers outdoor spaces from 5 square feet to 100 square feet. This package is four sessions, and may include the design and installation of raised beds depending on your space and desires.
Visit 1: Visiting your home or office, assessing the space, assessment of light, assessing design issues, and choosing what to plant. Together we’ll sit and do a generalized design of your space, which I will “clean up” back at the office, and submit to you for your approval via email.
Visit 2: Installation! I will deliver the materials for building and provide power tools, put on my work gloves and boots, and together we’ll install your new terrace garden. Few things are so satisfying as a job well done!
Visit 3: We’ll shop for your plants and install them in your garden together. I will give you a tutorial on how to care for your various plants.
Visit 4: Follow up after one week – how are things going?
Visit 5: One month follow up.
You will have free email and phone support for most issues and questions for 1 year after installation!
The MiniFarm Package - $1500 + materials
Do you have a BIG yard? Access to your roof? A HUGE patio or terrace? This package is for larger scale projects and is seven sessions. It is for yards and spaces that are up to 1/4 acre large (10,000 SF). This package is great not only for homeowners, but also for restaurants, and other businesses.
Visit 1: Visiting your home or office, assessing the space, assessment of light, assessing design issues, and choosing what to plant. Together we’ll sit and do a generalized design of your space, which I will “clean up” back at the office, and submit to you for your approval via email.
Visit 2: We’ll finalize the design and your garden intentions, and choose materials and plants.
Visit 3: Installation! I will deliver the materials for building and provide power tools, put on my work gloves and boots, and together we’ll install your new garden. Few things are so satisfying as a job well done!
Visit 4: We’ll shop for your plants and install them in your garden together. I will give you a tutorial on how to care for your various plants.
Visit 5: Follow up after one week – how are things going?
Visit 6: One month follow up.
Visit 7: At the end of the season, I’ll visit you and help you put your garden to bed for the winter.

A La Carte Offerings
Sometimes a client will just want a little assistance. For example, a client will desire only a list of plants of that would grow best in their home, or the best size and color containers to get for their terrace. Some clients need someone to take their hand that first time at a big nursery, or show them the basics of how to re-pot. Perhaps you need a knoweledgable eye to assess your property and consult you on what to trim, where the best locations for the plants you desire, or what to do to give an area a fresh look. For all these needs, I have a flat fee of $50 per hour, that is billable in 15 minute increments.
